MaskOn._ NanoTech Covid-19 Virus Killing Face Mask
Worry-free Protection
For You and Your Loved Ones
"Reimagining the ordinary" is a way of seeing and doing things that is internalised at MaskOn; to this extent, as face masks become intrinsically woven into the fabric of society, with small but intentional steps, we endeavour to innovate when and where it may contribute towards a greater good for our customers and society at large.
The team at Nano and Advanced Materials Institute (NAMI), a home-grown R&D subsidiary of HKUST that specialises in nano-technology and materials, have successfully developed nanofiber materials with virus-killing properties to effectively eliminate the COVID-19 virus upon contact. In recognition of the antiviral properties of the nanofiber, MaskOn has taken the lead to leverage NAMI’s proprietary technology to apply to its NanoTech mask. The mask has been treated with an ultra-fine antiviral nanofiber layer, which effectively kills the COVID-19 virus upon contact, taking your mask-wearing practice from one on the defence to one that actively eliminates potential harmful viruses. Quite literally an unnoticeable innovation in the final product, but a world of difference for you and your loved ones: worry-free protection.

MaskOn’s new “NanoTech” mask is designed to be a worry-free addition to complement your PPE line-up and is recommended for use on occasions and in environments when extra protection is required. The mask combines a revolutionary antiviral nanofiber technology with the existing ASTM Level 3 protection guarantee, and when exposed to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) has an infectivity reduction effect of 99.84%*. The antiviral effect has been independently verified in the United States by Bioscience Laboratories, a third-party testing facility. The additional nanofiber coating does not affect the mask’s breathability, maintaining the permeability of MaskOn’s masks even when worn for long periods of time.
